This vintage inspired customization of our Chasseral design was submitted to us by our great friends at LS Amster Company in Scarsdale, New York. We think our eggplant and saffron inks were the perfect pairing for an autumn wedding. The rich colors of the season are seen throughout- so much that it’s easy to see the leaves changing color! The iznik pattern envelope lining in saffron gives off the perfect amount of charm! Complete with direction cards printed on both front and back- these cards tell guests everything they need to know about getting to the celebration! The couple also chose letterpress thank you cards and we cannot think of a better way to show all of your guests your gratitude for being such an important part of your special day. Vintage inspired + autumn color palette = ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING!

We don’t think you can get more clean cut and classic than these custom letterpressed Bar Mitzvah invitations. This simple set was submitted by our wonderful friend, Nancy at Reed Cohen Paper & Events in New York, NY. Letterpress printed in our midnight ink with the most modern border as an accent helps keep this set downright classy. Staying in the lines of tradition, the Hebrew characters in the upper right hand corner symbolize the traditional Bais Hey blessing. Our 2-ply card stock is always a popular choice for Bar and Bat Mitzvah invitations. We love how the block font brings a masculine feel to this invitation suite.

Although it seems we have just kicked off the summer season, it’s time to start looking ahead to fall weddings that are only around the corner! What about fall inspires you — maybe it’s the foliage or the the cool nights or the feeling of change? One of the things we have been seeing a lot of lately is lots of jewel tones paired with light vintage colors and classic themes, these are all great inspirations for a lovely autumn wedding! We love this pairing of our Eggplant and Antique Gold inks letterpress printed in the Lashar wedding invitation design, submitted by our friends at Inklinations in Manhasset, NY.

Like the first honorable mention from Judy Paulen Designs in our recent Smock Design Contest, we were completely thrilled at the opportunity to print this unique customization of our Burstell letterpress wedding invitation design. Using custom inks in a brilliant green and vibrant pink, it’s paired with a chic custom folio for a total package that is nothing short of show-stopping. Mixing our payette pattern on the exterior and our sinclair pattern on the interior, the folio is bright, modern and playful. Folio inserts included a fabulous letterpress events card detailing all of the weekend wedding events for the convenience of guests, particularly appropriate for this destination wedding in Jamaica.
Once again, thank you to Judy Paulen Designs for dreaming up this exciting customization – it was such a pleasure for us to print these fabulous letterpress wedding invitations!
The first of two honorable mentions in our Smock Design Contest brought to us by Judy Paulen Designs at Bloomingdale’s in New York, we’re completely in love with this chic customization of our Engadine letterpress wedding invitation design. It’s printed in elegant wisteria and pewter inks and features our playful Etienne and Shaw fonts for a finished design that is the perfect blend of traditional elegance and modern sophistication. The set also includes a really lovely letterpress reception card that makes the most of a play between the script Etienne font and the clean look of the sans serif Shaw font. It’s minimal and simple, but still fresh and completely chic.
Thanks so much to our friends at Judy Paulen for sending us this beautiful customization!
Don’t forget our Monday Morning Mismoas wholesale event today – happening now! And this evening we’re looking forward to a fabulous sample sale to benefit the Fresh Air Fund, open to the public and all friends of Smock. We hope to see you there!
