We had the joy of printing these GORGEOUS letterpress Bat Mitzvah invitations for our wonderful friends at PS Paper in San Anselmo, California. We don’t think this suite could really be any sweeter, the submitted hand calligraphy used for the Sydney’s name adds a nice whimsical touch and the soft color palette keeps this set appropriate for a young girl’s important celebration. The frame on the invitation is inspired by our Dawson design – and helps maintain the contemporary vibe.

Write Next Door in Bethpage, New York sent in these contemporary Helani Bar Mitzvah invitations for printing. Letterpressed in our espresso and grass inks, this earthy color palette helps keep this set looking youthful, but sophisticated and the three letter monogram at the very top is so classic. The envelope is lined in our merritt pattern which we also adore because it matches perfectly to the bond border on the invitation.

Our navy and hot pink inks have never looked so pretty together! Gus & Ruby Letterpress in Portsmouth, New Hampshire submitted this elegant letterpress wedding suite featuring our Engadine design, which looks amazing next to the bouts of color included on the folio. Hot pink envelope liners add a gorgeous pop of color that guests might not be expecting when opening their invitation.

Letterpress wedding invitations and greeting cards from Smock have been spotted in some amazing places lately, and today we’re excited to share the features that Smock has been a part of this fall! For their Fall 2012 issue, Inside Weddings magazine included a custom wedding invitation set from Smock that featured a letterpress sleeve and combined two of our most popular designs: our floral Rhon design paired with elements from our more modern Dawson design.
Brides magazine featured one of our new, foil stamped wedding invitation designs and matching invitation sleeve — our whimsical Tatra customization — as part of their November issue.
Coastal Living included several of our products in their October 2012 issue as part of their “8 Steps to a Stress-Free Work Zone” feature. Our Bicyclette and Chatham scratchpads ($7 each) and our Breakers notebook ($9 each) are perfect reasons to take a break from technology to write down notes the old-fashioned way.
Stationery Trends magazine featured one of our new holiday cards as part of their Fall 2012 issue — our Joyeux Noel card (which features letterpress and gold foil stamping) was included in a piece all about gold.
And of course, we can’t forget about the amazing bloggers who have been featuring Smock online these days — Oh So Beautiful Paper, Discover Paper, Going Home to Roost, Young House Love, Bustle Blog, and Creative Wish — we appreciate your recognition!
We’re off to Fort Worth, Texas this week to host a Holiday Trunk Show with our BFFs at Byrd + Bleecker! Stop on in, create a work of art, order your letterpress holiday cards, or just say hello. We’d love to meet you!
Poeme in Cincinnati, Ohio submitted this beyond beautiful letterpress Robson suite for printing. We adore the soft, subtle combination of our taupe and papaya inks on this set. This set is kept looking classic with traditional font choices. Toss in papaya edge paint on the invitation, another splash of color on the invitation back pattern and a colorful envelope liner – this set truly has everything to make it complete.

We are thrilled to announce that our next trunk show will be at Paper and Chocolate in Dallas, Texas! Smock’s very own Jenna Wysokowski will be helping host the show along with Peggy Post (great-granddaughter-in-law of etiquette master Emily Post), who will be in the store Friday answering etiquette questions! Please call Paper and Chocolate if you have any questions or if you would like to schedule an appointment. We hope to see you there!
Inscriptions on the Boulevard in Fort Worth, Texas submitted these cheery rehearsal dinner invitations. Our pearl pattern was used on the invitation and the exterior of the folio, and gives off a fun, confetti-like look. The bubbly feel continued onto each insert card in the suite, and we love the way this stellar set came together!

As the crisp weather of fall starts to settle in, we can’t help but daydream about warm summer days and fabulous paper parties. Earlier this year, a few members of the Smock team headed out to Los Angeles for the second Urbanic Summer Social, and the event was a smashing success! Guests enjoyed sweet treats from Snow Con Amor, and freshly popped popcorn was served up in festive cones made from our double-sided gift wrap! A DIY Smock postcard station was enjoyed by all, and Danielle and Kevin from The Why We Love were there to capture some amazing photographs of the event. Big thanks to Audrey and the team at Urbanic for hosting!
Want to head to a Smock event? If you live in Texas, you’re in luck! We’ll be hosting a trunk show with Paper & Chocolate in Dallas on Friday, October 19. More details coming soon, but for now, take a look at our 2012 Summer Social recap!
