Last summer we collaborated with California based wedding planner Amy Nichols to create a gorgeous lavender inspiration shoot that’s been featured on both Martha Stewart Weddings and Elizabeth Anne Designs! Our Ingalls suite helped set the tone for the shoot, which took place at Amy’s parents’ avocado and lemon ranch in Santa Paula. Inspired Southern California’s lavender fields, the shoot featured a wide range of purple shades — from the candles to the flowers and even the napkins! This bubbly Bat Mitzvah invitation set features our Piedmont design in pretty lavender letterpress ink and silver matte foil. The text on the reply cards even played off of the bubbling theme – guests were either bubbling with excitement or “sorry to burst your bubble”!

We printed these lovely wedding invitations for our friends at Dandelion Patch – Vienna. The letterpress eggplant and lavender inks make this an elegant suite that they will remember for the rest of their lives. This Chasseral design was letterpress printed on ivory bamboo 2-ply paper. Its wrapped up neatly in a Smock pocketfold to give that new age look to a classic design.

These letterpressed save the dates were submitted to us by our good friend, Aileen at Aileen Invitations in Miami Beach, Florida. Our Rhon design looks truly sensational printed in our lavender and pewter inks. There are certainly times when a softer color palette works best and this is definitely one of those times! We print save the dates for all sorts of occasions and these save the dates happen to be for an engagement celebration. We can’t help but feel that the lavender ink represents gracefulness and charm while the pewter ink helps keep this set looking refined. Purple hues have always been connected to royalty which makes these save the dates all the more classic. The couple chose our payette pattern in lavender for both the offset back patterning and envelope liner – which ties this whole set together nicely.

Our great friend, Toni at The Write Image in Rockville, Maryland submitted these breathtaking Sabion letterpress invitations to us. Our midnight and lavender inks print beautifully on our thick 2-ply bamboo paper. The couple chose to coordinate their set with two cards that were printed with the lavender front patterning and then two cards were printed with only midnight ink – which makes for a peppy look with contrasting pieces! Corner rounding and a beautiful patterned envelope liner in midnight complete this suite.

The first of two honorable mentions in our Smock Design Contest brought to us by Judy Paulen Designs at Bloomingdale’s in New York, we’re completely in love with this chic customization of our Engadine letterpress wedding invitation design. It’s printed in elegant wisteria and pewter inks and features our playful Etienne and Shaw fonts for a finished design that is the perfect blend of traditional elegance and modern sophistication. The set also includes a really lovely letterpress reception card that makes the most of a play between the script Etienne font and the clean look of the sans serif Shaw font. It’s minimal and simple, but still fresh and completely chic.
