Our friends at The Sweet Praxis are opening a storefront in downtown Syracuse later this summer, and we couldn’t be more excited to support this local business on their new venture! We always love spotting our products on the pages of our favorite magazines! Smock’s been getting some love from HGTV Magazine as well as Woman’s Day and Celebrate. In the April 2016 issue of Woman’s Day, our medium Chartreuse boxes were featured in an article all about getting your home organized as the perfect vessel for mail (and if company comes before you’re ready, just pop on the lid to hide the mess!).
HGTV Magazine has also featured Smock in some recent issues! They used several of our patterned gift wraps in their December 2015 holiday issue about stylish new color combos (recreate the looks with our Dots, Turk, and Shimmer gift wraps). And the September 2015 issue of HGTV featured our wraps right on the cover! They created easy little makeovers by covering magazine holders and boxes with some of our wrap to create cute new office organization tools (for this story, they used our Indigo and Keiko wraps).
Celebrate Magazine also included us in their holiday issue, with lots of cute DIY ideas featuring our cards! They created festive garland, ceramic holiday coasters, and DIY gift toppers by repurposing our Lights Cheer, Love & Joy, Peace on Earth, and Branch Crest cards. Many thanks to all three publications for featuring Smock!
Family Fun magazine featured our gift wrap and keepsake boxes in their latest issue! The December / January 2016 issue of Family Fun includes a spread with ideas for cute holiday gifts kids can make, including framed artwork packaged in our festive Candy Stripe boxes, and personalized journals wrapped in our Sterling gift wrap. A couple of months ago we worked with Posh Parties in Jupiter, Florida, one of our awesome Smock dealers, to create a custom box for engage!10 at The Breakers.The boxes were based on our new (and already incredibly popular) Smock gift boxes and created especially for the engage!10 festivities. The event organizers placed cute tags and flowers on each one and packed each box with a scrumptious lunch. We love this idea for a casual picnic wedding or a rehearsal dinner on the beach. Eco Sticky Notes
Our new eco sticky notes are bright and vibrant, featuring 700 sticky notes made from 100% post consumer recycled paper. They are FSC certified and made locally here in Upstate New York.
New Jotter Notebooks
Our jotter notebooks come in a set of two coordinating jotters with 40 pages each. They are made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper with covers made from our signature gift wrap and letterpress printed with the word “notes.” We keep them in our pockets, our purses and at our fingertips for jotting down great ideas.

Our pretty new letterpress memo notepads feature letterpressed bamboo paper covers + 90 blank interior pages made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper.

Acid-free and made from 100% post consumer recycled materials right here in Upstate New York, our new eco boxes come in three sizes and a variety of patterns and colors. They are perfect as gift boxes, keepsakes boxes and as stylish storage solutions. How will you use yours?
New Eco Gift Bags
Our new eco gift bags are truly one of a kind. They are made for us in the Himalayan forests of Nepal by a really cool community-owned group devoted to sustainable forestry. They are FSC certified and silkscreen printed on handmade lokta paper – they’re also sturdy enough for re-use! These bags are made using papermaking techniques that have been around since the 12th century A.D.
New Letterpress Greeting Cards
More of our letterpress greeting cards you know and love, our new cards feature all new occasions including happy new home, baptism, bar/bat mitzvah, pet sympathy, and graduation in additional to perennial favorites such as happy birthday, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, baby, wedding and engagement greeting cards. All of our greeting cards are sustainably letterpress printed on our bamboo paper and come paired with patterned envelopes.
