We created Blakely’s letterpress birth announcements and social notes by combining playful patterns in chartreuse and silver inks. Letterpress printed on our white bamboo paper, the announcement featured confetti-like dots from our Pearl pattern as well as our Bodin border. We digitally printed petite social notes and matching envelope liners in our Pearl pattern to match. What a sweet way to welcome a newborn!

Our wonderful friend, Deborah at RSVP Today in New York City submitted these beyond charming Hekla baby announcements to us for printing. What we really adore is the dove ink as a beautiful soft flood of color against the eye popping persimmon ink used for the text – these are looking edgy. These are a stand out piece all their own – and we also printed one color thank you cards – matching back to the baby announcements. The second runner up in our latest Smock Design Contest, as selected by guest judge Audrey from Urbanic Paper Boutique, is a truly one of a kind letterpress baby announcement from Rock Paper Scissors in Franklin, Tennessee. Using our popular Liony motif paired with our Piedmont design, it was printed in a sophisticated pairing of taupe and sand inks.
