You just might say we have a soft side for pastel ink colors letterpressed on our thick 2-ply bamboo paper-and you would be right. Take a look at these elegant Engadine invitations submitted to us by our good friends at Salutations in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Softer hues have a way of looking peaceful and calm, without being over the top. The highlight is of course the gorgeous folio offset printed on the interior and exterior in the coolest colors to keep things modern. There is a real warmth seen throughout this suite and we adore it!

Its no secret that I adore the farmer’s market. It make me feel hopeful and inspired and, well, just like that ‘kid in the candy store.’ Most Saturdays we zip over to our local market which is quaint and neighborly and somewhat predictable in its offerings. But when we are feeling the need for the unexpected we load up the car and head to Madison for the BIG kahuna of markets.
My kids love the sights and samples and crowds. And the man with the bee-hive hat. And I love seeking out that odd vegetable that will inspire a new recipe and on a good week, may even convert one of my (very outspoken) strange-food-naysayers.
Here’s a great customization of our Rhon letterpress wedding invitation (check out the original Rhon here). The inks are a cool pewter and sky blue (pewter is such a great color to letterpress in!), and the san serif font really gives the invitation a modern elegance.
