Lauren and Thomas used our Ashbourne design as the inspiration for their nautical letterpress wedding invitations created thanks to the help of Fat Cat Paperie. They kept the Sand letterpress border and combined this with Navy letterpress as a seafaring nod to their reception venue of Peconic Bay Yacht Club. Other subtle yet purposeful touches include the compass, starfish and anchor motifs found on the weekend festivities card also printed in Navy letterpress. The reply card was kept simple and clean as another piece within the suite. They added an envelope liner pattern as a sweet way of incorporating a map of the area with heart motifs highlighting places of importance to the bride and groom. It’s easy to say that Ashbourne was the perfect invitation inspiration for Lauren and Thomas’s nautical affair.

The new issue of Weddings in Houston magazine is available today, and their stationery picks are a must-see! They highlighted six different invitation trends, including colorful florals, jewel tones, watercolors, vintage romance, art deco details, and modern metallics. Our Ashbourne invitation suite (with its pink vintage rose patterned envelope liners) was included with the florals, while our Vista suite was showcased in the collection of watercolor designs. Ingalls, a monogrammed suite with letterpress and foil details, was featured alongside a feminine selection of vintage invitations, and our modern Bloomsbury design was matched up with other modern foil stamped designs. Jessica and Adam chose our Ashbourne design to set the tone for their cozy autumn wedding, and created a full custom invitation suite and programs in a soft color palette of pewter and sand inks. Guests cozied up with white blankets on the grounds of A Private Estate for the couple’s riverfront ceremony, then made their way to the barn for the cocktail hour with warm mulled sangria in hand. Inspired by their love of local food and wine, the elegant farm to table reception featured a unique trios of salads and desserts, which were artfully served up on striking wooden plates by Michael Scott Catering. In honor of Samantha’s graduation from the University of Pennsylvania, her parents held a celebration at the Physick House in Philadelphia. They customized our Ashbourne design for the occasion, paying homage to the graduate’s middle name with our pink vintage rose pattern serving as a subtle background. In addition to the letterpress graduation party invitations, we also printed a sophisticated set of social stationery — and both pieces included solid envelope liners in the prettiest shade of pale pink to match.

Hillary and Christopher customized our Ashbourne wedding invitation twice for their spring wedding festivities. The first invitation, printed for the wedding ceremony on Cumberland Island in Georgia, featured a subtle pink rose background and tawny matte foil stamping, with a coordinating vintage rose patterned envelope liner. The second invitation, printed for the reception in Florida, showcased custom water lily artwork on the invitation background as well as the liners. The couple chose to keep the rest of the design elements the same, and the end result is stunning.
