These sophisticated gender neutral baby shower invitations from Georgia Ann’s Paperie pair pewter and taupe letterpress inks on our ivory bamboo paper. We worked with Georgia to create a custom design using fonts and elements from our design library (like our lamby motif and our pavee border), and created a playful patterned envelope liner using our fleming pattern to match the whimsical invitation design.

We love collaborating with our dealers to create custom invitations for all of our clients, but it’s a nice treat when we get the opportunity to collaborate with them for personal orders! Earlier this year, we had the opportunity to work with Evvy Diamond, co-owner of Nota Bene Paper, to create her son’s emerald green letterpress Bar Mitzvah invitations. We customized our Trenton design for the occasion, and created an invitation, party card, and reply card along with lined invitation envelopes. Beyond setting the tone for the celebration, the suite helped inspire a variety of cool party accessories and favors, including custom water bottles, personalized straws, and foil stamped drink stirrers!

Our friends at The Sweet Praxis are opening a storefront in downtown Syracuse later this summer, and we couldn’t be more excited to support this local business on their new venture! We teamed up with The Sweet Praxis to offer the Smock Gratitude Box, a new pledge option for their current Kickstarter project. Pledge $75 or more, and you’ll receive a Smock box filled with Smock + Sweet Praxis goodies, including a bag of almond toffee, vanilla marshmallows, brownies, a spiral-bound workbook, and assorted cards in one of our medium keepsake boxes. Visit The Sweet Praxis Kickstarter page to make your pledge by July 14th to receive one of these fun boxes. The best part? The box ships for free, so even if you’re not local you can enjoy all the goods! We did a fun photoshoot in honor of the collaboration and paired up some of our new gold foil stamped birthday cards with cupcakes from The Sweet Praxis for some celebratory inspiration – take a look!
The new issue of Weddings in Houston magazine is available today, and their stationery picks are a must-see! They highlighted six different invitation trends, including colorful florals, jewel tones, watercolors, vintage romance, art deco details, and modern metallics. Our Ashbourne invitation suite (with its pink vintage rose patterned envelope liners) was included with the florals, while our Vista suite was showcased in the collection of watercolor designs. Ingalls, a monogrammed suite with letterpress and foil details, was featured alongside a feminine selection of vintage invitations, and our modern Bloomsbury design was matched up with other modern foil stamped designs. Many thanks to Weddings in Houston for the feature!
For their springtime rehearsal dinner at the University Club of Memphis, Carolyn and Keithley customized our Chapman design with elegant laurels from our motif library. The invitations were printed in a sophisticated color palette of sage and dove inks on our ivory paper, and paired with a sage green watercolor envelope liner. Our Belmont die-cut shape added a sleek finish to this elegant invitation set!

Kelly and Corbett chose our Greely design for their spring wedding invitations. We worked with our friends at Paper Place to customize the suite, which included a gold matte foil stamped invitation and letterpress insert cards printed in rich vine ink. The modern-meets-rustic look of the fonts and motifs on the invitation mirrors the style of Brazos Hall in Austin – a modern new event space with rustic architectural elements like exposed brick and wood beams. We were checking out the #BrazosHall hashtag and spotted a peek of Kelly and Corbett’s ceremony space on Instagram – don’t their invitations match the space perfectly?!

We worked with the team at Houston Invitation Service to create Katherine and Stewart’s elegant gold calligraphy wedding invitations for their March celebration. The entire suite — invitations, die-cut reception cards, and reply cards — was printed in gold matte foil, along with the patterned backing on the reception cards and inner envelope liners. All of the design elements combined for a perfectly polished look for this black tie wedding at The Hobby Center in Houston!
