Our friends at Simply Put decided to combine copper shine and teal shine in a refreshing way to create these unique foil stamped Bar Mitzvah invitations. You can also see a subtle blind deboss background added for a touch of texture to this colorful card. The suite included two versions of the reply card and an eye-catching party card with football shaped typography dressed up in copper chine foil. We can’t think of a better way to add a fun yet memorable twist to a party card! You can easily tell by looking at the suite that Max is a true sports lover and we would agree that his invitation suite definitely has game!

Sarah and Colby worked with our friends at No Regrets to create their gorgeous Barnesly wedding invitations (get all of the details on them here!) complete with monogrammed invitation sleeves and rose gold foil stamped envelope liners. The bride is a talented portrait photographer and worked with Imoni Events to pull together a picture-perfect celebration at the Silverleaf Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. Romantic floral arrangements and garlands of lush greenery dressed up the beautiful venue, with modern gold accents like geometric vases and candle holders adding a fun touch to the centerpieces and decor. Our playful Confetti design set the stage for Lindsey’s celebration this past November. We worked with The Write Occasion to create these vibrant foil stamped Bat Mitzvah invitations. The design includes touches of a whimsical script font in gold matte foil combined with confetti accents in shades of purple and turquoise. We were thrilled to see our revel pattern printed in gold foil over a digitally printed flood of violet ink on the envelope liner as a fun way to wrap it all up. There’s nothing better than incorporating different yet complementary patterns into a suite to create a show-stopper like this!

Sarah and Colby customized our Barnesly design for their wedding at the Silverleaf Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. These romantic watercolor wedding invitations showcase our rose gold foil in a charming way against a blush background. To keep the invitation and various insert cards safe and sound, an eye-catching monogrammed sleeve with foil accents was added to the mix. A rose gold envelope liner in our classic amble pattern tied everything together as the finishing touch to this sweet suite.

We worked with Danielle at Creative Touch to create these contemporary bridal shower invitations for Lindsay. This statement-maker was printed in tawny matte foil accented with modern brushstrokes. They decided to pair the invitation with a vibrant envelope liner to add a pop of color to this chic set. The shimmer background against this painterly foil pattern gives the liner that wow factor.  Look out Boca Raton — our Lennon design has never looked better thanks to this bold customization!

Help us welcome summer at the 5th Annual Smock Sidewalk Sale on Wednesday, June 21 from 10am – 7pm. We’ve made some changes to the sale this year (like extending the hours!) to accommodate our loyal shoppers throughout the day. New for this year, we’re excited to welcome our friends at The Sweet Praxis, and to help you keep your cool, Gannon’s Ice Cream and Skippy’s Ice Cream will be joining us throughout the day too!

We’re also pleased to be bringing back a carnival-style fundraiser to benefit our friends at Onondaga Earth Corps — for a $1 donation, you can spin a colorful prize wheel for a chance to win prizes from Smock, as well as some of our participating vendors! We were thrilled to see our Exeter letterpress wedding menus featured on Style Me Pretty this week! Veronica from Type A Society led the styling and creative direction for the shoot, which was all about springtime cherry blossoms. The floral applique details on the model’s dress gave a nice nod to the cherry blossom theme, while fresh florals made the shoot come to life. It’s always fun to see the finishing touches that our clients make when it comes to their wedding invitations and save the dates. For Chelsea and JohnMichael’s May wedding at The Hempstead House, we worked with Jill from Jilly P Invitations & Gifts to create a set of custom, venue-inspired wedding invitations and save the dates. Jill shared some background with us on the inspiration for this suite – we’ll let her take it from here! 

Whenever I work with a customer, my goal is to always make their dreams become a reality. For this invitation, the bride wanted a drawing of the castle where the event was being held. So as to hint at the incredible night ahead, we first used a hand drawn image of the castle on the save the date. As we continued the process, we then included the castle design on the direction card in the pocketfold invitation, and to tie it all together, we designed a beautiful stamp incorporating the castle. In finalizing the entire package, we added a wax seal on the back of the envelope with the bride and groom’s initials as a perfect finishing touch for what will be the most magical night of their lives.

Anna and Peter customized our Emory design for their LA wedding at the Cicada Club – an art deco venue with vintage 1920’s flair. They chose a classic color palette of black letterpress with gold matte foil stamped accents for their invitations and incorporated an art deco patterned border on their reply cards to keep with the theme. They complemented the set with a striped patterned envelope liner, printed in black ink on metallic gold leaf paper for a subtle yet glamorous finishing touch.
