Each year, we get the pleasure of creating the Amazon Conservation Association letterpress holiday cards. This nonprofit has protected the western Amazon for close to twenty years now. The association established Peru’s first conservation concession which brought in thousands of scientists as well as tourists to the area. They also empower indigenous communities to develop forest-friendly livelihoods. This year, we printed their holiday cards in Black and Gold letterpress with a jaguar illustration front and center. On the inside, recipients will learn about the impact their donations and support had on the Amazon that year, all printed in Black letterpress ink. We can’t wait to start designing next year’s card already. Finally, don’t forget to learn more about the association here!
We can never get enough of patterns that have something to say. Our Sheridan design is all about pushing that envelope even further with its modern geometric flair. Melissa and Yuki decided that this design would be the perfect fit to reflect their wedding held at the Four Seasons in Scottsdale, Arizona. A digitally printed marble sleeve with Bronze Shine accents gave everything a home in a chic way. While the same contemporary pattern printed on the sleeve was carried onto the reply envelope as well as the menu. The unique diamond structure was used as the actual shape of the menu for another wow factor within their wedding stationery. Thanks to the help of Mrs. Post Fine Stationery & Gifts, we were able to create a suite that will surely leave their guests talking.

We worked with our friends at Union Street Papery to create these darling tri-fold holiday cards for the Spangler family. The tri-fold card features digital printing on both the front and the back, and each panel highlights a different photograph. Gold matte foil was included to make the initial greeting stand out, and we created custom envelope liners featuring the reindeer pattern from our Merry gift wrap to add some extra holiday cheer.

We love creating custom holiday cards and seeing all of the festive patterns and motifs come through the shop, but we’re always especially honored to print holiday cards for our Smock dealers. Last year we worked with Sarah Gallante, owner of Pom Paperie in Valencia, California, to create her family’s custom holiday cards. The front of the card featured a group photo of Sarah, her husband, her children, and of course their family dog Chibi in front of the most picturesque mountain scene. The cards also featured a “be merry” message with the year and family name in red shine foil on the front, while the backside of the card showcased individual portraits and an update on each family member. Confetti patterned envelope liners in various shades of red, blue, and gray tied all of the colors from the digitally printed cards together and made for a fun finish!

We worked with our friends at Needle in a Haystack to create these custom letterpress Christmas party invitations and save the dates. Inspired by our Hamilton design, the invitations were printed on our ultra-thick 3-ply paper and edge painted in deep red for a festive touch.
