Traditional wedding meets modern design in this wedding suite from our friends at Union Street Papery.  They put together this beautiful suite using our Talmossen design, which uses a traditional feel font and pairs it with modern design accents. This suite was done on our white Bamboo paper in Taupe ink. This was a wedding that brought together two cultures with invitations done in both English and Spanish version. All the pieces were finished off with metallic silver edge painting and the inner envelope was paired with a custom offset liner (our Fleming Design in Espresso) to give it that modern look.

We have been printing a lot of Bat/Bar Mitzvah sets in our shop lately. Thanks go out to Amy at Monograham for sending us this hip Delano customization. This set was offset printed on our bamboo 1-ply ivory paper in Raspberry and Orchid inks. The outer and response envelopes were letterpress printed in Orchid. This set is completed with an offset printed folio; our Cayman pattern in Orchid on the interior and our Fleming pattern in Raspberry. If this special day was half as fun as this suite was, we all missed a great party.

What a wonderful suite we received from our friends at Landis Gifts & Stationery. This Ossa design was customized beautifully on our white bamboo paper, and letterpressed in Lime and Black inks. The invitation and reply card were edge painted in Orchid. The invitation is adhered to an awesome folio, offset printed in our Ashwell pattern in Black on the outside and in our Sherbrooke pattern in Lime on the inside. The final touch of brilliance is the envelope liner, offset printed in our Sherbrooke pattern in Lime to match. This one was a very personal suite as it was printed for the store owner’s daughter. We are so happy to be able to be included in such a special day.

It’s easy to get in the party mood when seeing these custom and vibrant offset invitations!  These colorful invitations were submitted to us by our great friend Kerri at Anne Grace Designs in Dallas, Texas.  We think you’ll agree that the color combination of coral and robin’s egg brings the perfect balance of bright hues.  Not many people are aware that seahorses are a symbol for happiness and these invitations definitely have us feeling good vibes.  Now, who’s ready for a fiesta?

Libby from Byrd + Bleecker in Fort Worth, Texas strikes again! Birth announcements are such a joy to print, particularly when they are original and beautiful in design. Peach and Ocean inks are a great blend for baby announcements and the use of design elements and photo space make this card a one-of-a-kind.

Celia at Urbanic came to us for these “day of” pieces for a September wedding. Our Odin design was a perfect fit, especially when designed using the right cartouche and blend of our ocean and peacock inks. Carrying the design over to the table numbers and place cards was a great way to make the motifs stand out at the reception.

This cool Hekla custom letterpress + offset invitation suite was submitted by our friends at Hitched in Washington DC. The invitation is letterpress printed on our bamboo 2-ply paper in black with a blind deboss ink that makes it pop. The edge painting in spring and an offset back pattern in black add to the uniqueness of this piece. To top it all off, they decided to go with one of our new chesapeake die-cuts. It is accompanied by an outer envelope lined with our ashford pattern in spring. The piece that makes this suite amazing is the custom sleeve – offset with our seneca pattern in black.

Thanks to Melanie at Salutations in Charlotte, North Carolina for the opportunity to print a beautiful letterpress + offset wedding invitations. Using submitted artwork to combine offset printing for their folio and letterpress printing for their cards, the patterns and designs used in this set were very striking. Seamist compliments taupe very well to begin with, but we were very pleased to see how elegant everything looked when put together. Great work, Melanie!

At Smock our goal is to ensure that our brides have one of kind invitations for their big day. With that in mind, we often accept custom artwork to pair with our wide variety of fonts and letterpress (or offset) print in our luscious ink on our luxurious bamboo paper. The artwork submitted to us by Peabody Papers in Grandview Heights, OH once compared with all of the above, blew us away!

The 3-color offset invitation was printed on both the front and the back in pewter, slate and gold inks. The juxtaposition of the flat yet colorful imagery with the black letterpress text created such a dignified look. The subtle hint of masculinity is impeccable. Well done Peabody Papers. Well done!

She wanted to convey a sense of elegance while evoking thoughts of champagne bubbles. I drew the “bubbles” and decided that I would use the block for their names vs. a more traditional treatment. The last piece to come together was the kalogram – 5 sheets of proofs! It payed off though as she loves it and is using it & the dot design throughout the reception at the Statehouse.
