Smock in the Press: Winter 2011

It’s time to say thanks to the fantastic editors who have featured Smock’s letterpress wedding invitations, greeting cards, gift-wrap, and more in their magazines and on their blogs over the past few months. Our first feature is from Brides magazine, which showed our Palmer letterpress wedding invitations in their White Hot! section of their November edition — they were digging the die-cut shape and the fact that our invitations are eco-friendly!

Well Wed Hamptons Fall/Winter 2011 edition featured this set of stunning letterpress wedding invitation suite and one of our amazing retailers — Claudia Hanlin of The Wedding Library!

Eco Beautiful Weddings, an online magazine, recently featured Smock wedding invitations in their winter 2012 edition in “Green Is” — a section that helps brides track down eco-friendly goods for their weddings, and MODBlog also featured a variety of Smock wedding invitations this fall!

Our Everyday line got lots of attention this holiday season! Cooking Light magazine featured our Quadrille box along with our Merry Christmas letterpress gift tags in their December 2011 holiday edition.

Dayspa magazine selected several Smock products for their holiday gift guide: our Picadilly and Pavilion jotters, and our Thoroughbred boxed letterpress notes.

Phyllis Hoffman Celebrate Christmas magazine featured an entire spread on Smock, along with an interview with Smock’s creative director, Amy Graham Stigler. The spread included letterpress gift tags and greeting cards, along with letterpress photo cards and our eco-friendly gift wrap from our Merry and Pageant suites.

Nails Magazine featured our Seahorse and Merry Christmas letterpress holiday greeting cards in their greeting card round-up.

Selling Christmas Decorations magazine featured our Mistletoe wrap in their “Presenting Presents” feature.

We were also thrilled to see Smock all over the web this holiday season. Oh So Beautiful Paper featured Smock on several occasions, showcasing our gift tags, gift wrap, and holiday greeting cards. Apartment Therapy featured Smock studio items in one of their gift round-ups and also featured some of our letterpress holiday cards. Paper Crave featured a full post on lots of Smock goods for the holiday season, and Daily Candy included our letterpress Seahorse card in their greeting card guide and our calendars in their gift guide. Real Simple also featured our double-sided gift wrap, and 7th House on the Left partnered with us on a fantastic giveaway!

We are so thankful to all of the following blogs for featuring our letterpress holiday cards, eco-friendly gift wrap and gift ideas over the past few months!

Finally, we’d like to send a special thanks to Earthworks for working with us on our Cyber Monday sale — with their help, we were able to raise over $700 for their amazing cause!

Smock – in the Press

We are beyond thrilled to share a few articles and blog posts that our work has been featured in recently! We love it when the amazing editors, bloggers, and magazines out there decide to feature our stuff. Our first feature was from Brides magazine — which highlighted our Isle gift-tags.

Next up, Stationery Trends. The latest issue featured our Hekla design, a modern invitation with gorgeous chevron patterning — and a new addition for 2011.

One of our beloved Smock retailers (the Stationer of New Orleans) was featured in the issue alongside a few pieces of custom Smock stationery!

Stationery Trends also gave Smock a few shout-outs in their summer edition, featuring our bee-autiful Honeycomb thank you cards, our gift wrap flowers from the National Stationery Show, and the oh-so-sweet Sugar & Spice greeting card.

Earlier this year, Greetings Etc. also showcased Smock - Birthday Turtle made an appearance, and a few of our amazing Smock retailers (The Dandelion Patch, Paper & Chocolate, and Sweet Paper) were also featured!

And last – but certainly not least! – we were thrilled to see our calendars on Design*Sponge, our Pollen scratchpads and letterpress calendars on Oh So Beautiful Paper, and lots of letterpress love all-around from Design Crush, 100 Layer Cake, Paper Runway, Outblush, Paper Crave, and Invitation Crush. Thanks again to all of these amazing publications for choosing to feature Smock!

Haute Papier & Smock featured in Southern Living Magazine!

Our wonderful friends at Pen & Paper in Byrn Mawr, Pennsylvania submitted this gorgeous letterpress wedding invitation in our Haddington design for Abigal and Andrew. Elizabeth Anne Designs featured the real wedding filled with jaw-dropping photos by Marie Labbancz of the bride and groom. We were equally blown away with the charm and elegance that surrounded this at home celebration!

Smock Everyday Flounce wrap origami on Haute Papier!

Our friends at Haute Papier in Leesburg, Virginia recently featured our Smock Everyday Flounce Wrap on their blog- Haute Papier!

Smock in Martha Stewart Weddings!

We are thrilled to be featured in the Winter 2011 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings! They showcased a custom design project we worked on with our friends at The Wedding Library, drawing inspiration from a vintage handkerchief to create bright and cheerful letterpress wedding invitations, menus, favor tags, table numbers and assorted paper goods. Smock Holiday Wrap in Martha Stewart Living!

Check out the December issue of Martha Stewart Living where they featured our double-sided (and super eco) holiday gift wrap! Our wraps come two oversized (24″x 36″) sheets to a roll and are beautifully printed on FSC certified, 100% post consumer recycled paper in Upstate New York. The issue is on newsstands now so check it out for tons of holiday gift wrapping inspiration – and a huge thank you to our friends at Martha for including us!

Today we’re extending an overdue shot out to two of our favorite shelter magazines for featuring Smock! First up, Smock’s Creative Director, Amy Graham Stigler, was featured in an incredible interview and fashion spread in Better Homes and Gardens. She was whisked off to New York City where she was a model for a day, sharing her love for vintage accessories and her inspiration for all things Smock. You can read more about her Better Homes and Gardens photo shoot on our blog.

That same month, our Bourbon letterpress thank you card was featured in a great round up of thank you cards in House Beautiful.
